Doctor Ramsay presents his most respectful compliments to Col. de Miranda sincerely regrets his departure & most sincerely whishes him every species of happiness. We will be much obliged to Col. de Miranda to put the sealed letter in the post office inmediately on his arrival in philada Doctor Ramsay will be very happy if the open letters may answer the end & therefore he leaves them to be delivered or not as may suit his convenience and time.

El doctor Ramsay presenta sus más respetuosos saludos al coronel Miranda, lamentando sinceramente su partida y deseándole más sinceramente aún toda clase de felicidad. Quedaríamos muy agradecidos al coronel Miranda si pudiera poner en el correo, inmediatamente a su llegada a Filadelfia, la adjunta carta sellada. El Dr. Ramsay quedaría muy satisfecho si las cartas abiertas pueden responder a su fin y por tanto deja a su arbitrio, el entregarlas o no, de acuerdo con su conveniencia y oportunidad.
